Emily Martin, RMT
Hi, I’m Emily Martin, founder and owner of Sparkle Barefoot Massage.
Sparkle is inspired by that vibrant, glowing feeling you experience after a truly effective massage – leaving clients feeling lighter, renewed, and at ease both inside and out.
I focus in therapeutic massage techniques allowing for deep, controlled pressure to effectively address chronic aches, pain, and musculature tension. My work is driven by a commitments to helping clients find lasting relief, improved mobility, and a greater sense of well – being.
I graduated from Algonquin College in 2021 with an Advanced Diploma in Massage Therapy, making the start of my career as a Registered Massage Therapist. Since entering practice, I have been dedicated to delivering high – quality, client-centered therapeutic care.
In 2022, I completed my Ashiatsu certification through the Canadian Institute of Ashiatsu Massage Therapy. I received specialized private training in barefoot massage in the historic town of Almonte, Ontario, where I developed expertise in providing deep, controlled, and effective therapeutic treatment.

Why I Love Being an RMT
Becoming a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) has been an incredibly rewarding journey. I thrive in one-on-one or small clinical settings, where I can provide personalized care and focus on each client’s unique needs. This approach allows me to effectively support individuals dealing with both acute and chronic pain through targeted therapy.
There’s nothing more fulfilling than seeing clients leave a session feeling lighter, more comfortable, and more in tune with their bodies. For me, being an RMT is about more than technique – it’s about listening, understanding, and collaborating with each person to support their wellness journey. I’m committed to helping clients prioritize selfcare, improve their overall function, and maintain long-term health.
